Named Account Manager targeting C-level executives in enterprise cybersecurity sector. Building relationships, closing deals, and expanding market presence in the United States.
Responsibilities
Establish strong business relationships at the executive level.
Conduct sales presentations and coordinate multiple resources within an account.
Successfully close business for Proofpoint.
Penetrate net new accounts and expand presence with existing customers.
Partner with the channel organization to secure new share of the security market.
Team up with Sales/Systems Engineering to prepare account strategies and outstanding product demos.
Requirements
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a field sales role selling to large enterprise organizations.
Ideally experience selling Enterprise Security or Information Technology products, but other industries welcome.
Proven and demonstrable track record of exceeding sales goals.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Organized, detail and process oriented.
Self-starter with the ability to work independently or in a team environment.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and use good judgment in resolving difficult issues.
Experience with SalesForce or similar CRM tools strongly preferred.
BA/BS or equivalent preferred.
