About the role

  • Develop and implement strategic business and marketing plans for the Oncology product portfolio in collaboration with cross-functional partners and the Business Unit Director
  • Lead the cross-functional therapeutic area team to support implementation of Canadian brand strategy for all products in the Oncology portfolio
  • Support the development of cross-functional tactical plans and ensure execution of marketing tactics
  • Initiate and lead projects to support products at various stages of their life cycle, including launch
  • Oversee development of digital marketing campaigns including online advertising and email marketing
  • Generate and consolidate key insights via advisory boards, consultancy meetings, and market research
  • Engage with key HCPs to understand challenges, develop advocates, and support sales training on brand strategy and materials
  • Manage agency partners to ensure on budget and timely deliverables
  • Collaborate with medical and regulatory review committee to ensure compliance with company SOPs and approval of external materials
  • Report adverse events to third-party PV service provider in a timely manner
  • Attend local, regional, and national meetings; occasional evening and weekend work
  • Perform required administrative duties including expense and marketing reports
  • Flexible to changing priorities in a fast-moving environment
  • Travel up to 25% and international travel as required

Requirements

  • Minimum: Bachelor's degree: preference for Science, HealthCare, or Business
  • Commercial experience in healthcare / biopharmaceuticals
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in biopharmaceutical marketing
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in biopharmaceutical sales with a focus on specialty products and institutional sales
  • Oncology experience strongly preferred
  • Strong leadership and ability to influence without authority
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multiple cross-functional stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently under tight timelines
  • Strong written and verbal communication, presentation delivery, and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated persuasive, solution-oriented approach to articulate value propositions and negotiate commitment
  • Experience developing digital programs and solutions
  • Understanding of hematology / oncology treatment landscape
  • Possess scientific acumen and knowledge of product development, regulatory, market access, clinical, and medical affairs
  • Knowledge of marketplace regulations and industry promotional policy
  • Compliance mindset and demonstrated integrity
  • Understanding of local managed markets (public and private) and institutional/hospital environments
  • Computer literate including ability to use MS Office and Veeva
  • French language is an asset
  • Willingness and ability to travel nationally and internationally (up to 25%)
