About the role

  • Write and edit compelling content tailored for B2B and B2C audiences across multiple channels, including email, social, blog, web and print.
  • Curate visual content from asset libraries including images that support the copy written for various projects.
  • Develop content for collateral that supports trade efforts, including training tools, presentations, reference guides and ad-hoc marketing requests.
  • Proofread content and collateral for accuracy, including grammar, spelling, product details and conditions.
  • Maintain the social media calendar and support the development of the editorial calendar in conjunction with the Marketing Manager.
  • Manage content-led projects from concept through delivery, including providing copy direction, collaborating with design and overseeing timelines in the project management system.
  • Produce content for Brendan’s social media channels, including videos, animated files and static images that align with the editorial calendar.
  • Monitor and respond to comments across our social channels to foster engagement and build a positive brand community.
  • Support content creation for paid social activity and assets.
  • Track, analyse and report on social media performance to optimize future content and postings.
  • Serve as brand guardian, ensuring all content maintains tone of voice, embodies brand pillars and delivers on business objectives.
  • Collaborate with marketing colleagues to evaluate content effectiveness, brainstorm ideas and recommend improvements for campaigns and procedures.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years’ experience in a content, marketing or communications role, preferably in travel, tourism, retail or consumer brand sectors.
  • Proven ability to write for diverse audiences and channels (B2B and B2C).
  • Experience developing and executing content strategies across digital and print channels.
  • Strong copywriting, editing and proofreading skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with project management systems, content management systems, digital marketing platforms and reporting tools (e.g., Google Analytics, etc.) is a plus.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable with a collaborative team spirit.
