About the role

  • Provide support with day-to-day marketing tasks, such as organizing files, updating contact lists, and preparing materials for campaigns
  • Assist in formatting, proofreading, and organizing content for various marketing materials, including social media posts, newsletters, and email campaigns, ensuring everything aligns with brand guidelines
  • Help with logistical details for marketing events, such as trade shows and product launches, ensuring supplies and information are prepared
  • Assist in gathering and analyzing data for market research and campaign performance using basic tools like Excel or Google Analytics
  • Support digital marketing efforts by scheduling social media content, helping with email marketing, and tracking online campaign performance
  • Perform entry-level administrative duties, such as scheduling meetings, taking notes, and maintaining organized marketing assets
  • Collaborate with the marketing team and contribute to campaign planning and execution
  • Participate in onboarding, online training courses, and mentorship provided by the company

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a post-secondary program in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related discipline
  • Practical experience or coursework in marketing, including exposure to digital marketing strategies, campaign planning, or market analysis
  • Demonstrates an understanding of marketing principles and practices
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator) and digital marketing tools (Google Analytics, social media management platforms) is an asset
  • Basic understanding and practical experience with Basecamp for project management is an asset
  • Shows the ability to take charge of tasks, motivate peers, and contribute to team success
  • Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Collaborative mindset and strong interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • Innovative thinker, patient and diligent
