About the role
- Manager overseeing multi-location training operations for Navy Federal Credit Union. Ensuring compliance and effective training strategies for diverse business initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Plan, direct, and manage the functions of a multi-location full spectrum training operation
- Ensure training is in full compliance with all applicable statutory requirements and Navy Federal policies
- Support business division's senior management in developing and executing strategic plans
- Evaluate, analyze, and adjust training to maximize impact on business results
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop training strategies, tactics and learning solutions that support company wide and business unit objectives
- Influence the development of Department objectives and long range goals
- Manage communication functions per department guidelines
- Provide overall leadership to large strategic projects or programs
- Act as an advocate and spokesperson for training to upper management and professional networks
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Training and Development, adult education, Instructional Technology or a related field, or the equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- Master's Degree in Training and Development, adult education, Instructional Technology or a related field, or the equivalent combination of education, training, and experience (desired)
- Significant experience in leading, guiding and mentoring others
- Significant experience working with all levels of staff, management, stakeholders, vendors
- Extensive experience in member/customer service operations to include understanding of effective member/customer service philosophy
- Advanced knowledge of principles and processes for measuring and evaluating program and individual effectiveness and developing alternative corrective actions
- Ability to compile, organize and present information clearly and concisely
- Significant experience in managing multiple priorities independently and/or in a team environment to achieve goals
- Extensive experience working with cross-functional teams and leading projects
