Responsibilities
Plan, direct, and manage the functions of a multi-location full spectrum training operation
Ensure training is in full compliance with all applicable statutory requirements and Navy Federal policies
Support business division's senior management in developing and executing strategic plans
Evaluate, analyze, and adjust training to maximize impact on business results
Collaborate with stakeholders to develop training strategies, tactics and learning solutions that support company wide and business unit objectives
Influence the development of Department objectives and long range goals
Manage communication functions per department guidelines
Provide overall leadership to large strategic projects or programs
Act as an advocate and spokesperson for training to upper management and professional networks
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Training and Development, adult education, Instructional Technology or a related field, or the equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
Master's Degree in Training and Development, adult education, Instructional Technology or a related field, or the equivalent combination of education, training, and experience (desired)
Significant experience in leading, guiding and mentoring others
Significant experience working with all levels of staff, management, stakeholders, vendors
Extensive experience in member/customer service operations to include understanding of effective member/customer service philosophy
Advanced knowledge of principles and processes for measuring and evaluating program and individual effectiveness and developing alternative corrective actions
Ability to compile, organize and present information clearly and concisely
Significant experience in managing multiple priorities independently and/or in a team environment to achieve goals
Extensive experience working with cross-functional teams and leading projects
Advanced skill in building strategic and execution-focused plans and alliances with partner leadership
