About the role

  • Manager driving HR vendor strategy and partnerships while ensuring organizational effectiveness at GEICO. Establishing governance and overseeing vendor performance aligned with business priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a people vendor management strategy aligned to People Group and business goals.
  • Act as the primary relationship manager for key People vendor partners, fostering collaboration and driving accountability for performance.
  • Establish governance processes, including vendor segmentation, performance metrics, and structured business reviews.
  • Partner with HR leaders and Procurement to manage the full vendor lifecycle, from selection and onboarding through ongoing performance and contract renewals.
  • Monitor and report on vendor performance against SLAs, KPIs, and strategic priorities, providing insights and recommendations to HR leadership.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation, cost optimization, and service improvement in partnership with vendors.
  • Proactively address vendor risks and issues to ensure business continuity and compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in vendor management, HR operations, procurement, or business strategy roles.
  • Strong understanding of HR vendor landscapes (benefits, technology, workforce solutions, etc.).
  • Proven ability to influence and collaborate across HR, procurement, and business leadership.
  • Excellent strategic thinking, relationship management, and analytical skills.
