About the role

  • Oversee daily treasury operations, ensuring the seamless processing of payments and transactions.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain treasury-related SOPs, ensuring proper documentation, monitoring, and version control.
  • Build and lead a high-performing Middle Office team, fostering a culture of professionalism and continuous development.
  • Oversee payment and collection operations, including processing, settlement, and reconciliation, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate financial and operational risks by implementing robust controls and procedures to safeguard treasury functions.
  • Prepare and present accurate and timely treasury reports to the Middle Office team, highlighting key trading indicators and financial insights.
  • Deliver training and guidance to the treasury team to enhance their expertise in treasury operations, regulatory compliance, and industry best practices.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Risk Management, and Technology, to drive continuous improvement and innovation in treasury operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, marketing, communications, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in payment industry operations, with a demonstrated progression in responsibilities.
  • Proven experience in operations management with a focus on treasury functions in the payment industry.
  • Strong organizational skills and able to manage tight deadlines.
  • Strong knowledge of industry regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to help a team grow in their professional ambitions.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong knowledge of industry regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in treasury management systems and financial software.
