Responsibilities

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.
Strong knowledge of Database technologies
Minimum five years of progressive leadership experience in IT.
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive technology initiatives aligned with business goals.
Oversee the design and optimization of enterprise-scale SQL database solutions, including schema architecture, performance tuning, and complex queries and stored procedures.
Proven experience overseeing enterprise-level database and infrastructure strategies.
Strong understanding of virtualization and cloud technologies (e.g., VMware vSphere, AWS, Azure) from a governance and planning perspective.
Ability to guide teams leveraging scripting and automation tools (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash) to improve operational efficiency.
Managing large-scale IT projects, including budgeting, resource planning, and stakeholder communication.
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with a focus on risk management and continuous improvement.
Confident decision-maker with the ability to operate independently in high-pressure environments.
