- Manager of Contract Manufacturing Procurement overseeing partner selection and contract negotiations at Conagra Brands. Driving innovation and productivity through effective project management and cross-team collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Manage the identification and selection of contract manufacturing partners and negotiation of contracts to support needs
- Lead regimented approach to contract negotiations
- Ensure alignment of cross-functional team members
- Develop and maintain long-term business relationships with contract manufacturing partners
- Provide project management for business growth, innovation and productivity improvement programs
- Ensure use of resources and communication of priorities by coordinating efforts between various departments
- Lead the sourcing/selection process for finished goods contract manufacturing partners
- Complete total delivered cost analysis
- Lead contract design and negotiations
- Benchmark competitive set within the food industry
- Analyze segments through market data and should cost modeling
- Develop risk management plan for supplemental production options
- Manage finished goods projects up to the first trial
- Liaison with the Operations team
- Develop robust category strategies
- Drive cost savings through negotiations and continuous improvement
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 7+ years procurement or supply chain experience
- Experience analyzing total cost of ownership
- Experience managing supplier relationships and tracking KPI’s
- Contract management experience
- Experience developing & leading RFPs
- Project management experience
- Experience managing cross functionally
- Experience mentoring and coaching team members
- Ability to travel up to 25%, mostly domestic
