About the role

  • Manager Communications for Group Benefits at Manulife, supporting strategic communications initiatives for external and internal audiences. Collaboration with Canada Segment and global partners to drive engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and implementation of communications plans
  • Drive internal and external communications support for Group Benefits business
  • Build strategic partnerships with Canada Segment and global business partners
  • Collaborate with communications colleagues for consistent messaging
  • Oversee development and maintenance of internal communication channels
  • Monitor and measure the effectiveness of communication initiatives

Requirements

  • 6+ years of relevant work experience in communications at a publicly traded company (preferably financial services)
  • Experience across multiple communications disciplines
  • Work across complex stakeholders in a global matrix environment
  • Self-directed, resourceful, proactive, creative, curious
  • Exceptional organization and project management skills
  • Team player with problem-solving skills
  • Ability to think big and handle details
