About the role

  • Lead and manage SMB Account Managers (3–4 headcount) as a player‑coach
  • Coach reps, review pipeline, and support development
  • Run weekly team meetings and call review sessions to review performance and align on goals
  • Run demos and close deals; contribute to individual sales targets
  • Provide real-time deal support by joining customer calls and assisting with negotiation
  • Partner with directors and the GM to align on strategy and report progress
  • Support hiring, onboarding, and ramping of new SMB team members
  • Maintain motivation, culture, and accountability in a high-pressure environment

Requirements

  • Lead a team of 3–4 Account Managers
  • Player-coach: contribute individually while developing others
  • Drive execution in line with Sitemate’s playbooks, frameworks, and values
  • Run demos and close deals to contribute to individual sales targets
  • Provide real-time deal support, including joining customer calls and negotiation
  • Run weekly team meetings and call review sessions
  • Support hiring, onboarding, and ramping of new SMB team members when needed
  • Comfortable collaborating across functions and influencing outcomes beyond immediate team
  • Willingness to come to the Sydney Office at least 2 days per week (application question)

Benefits

  • Commission: $60,000
