About the role
- Programme Manager managing Local Area Energy planning (LAEP) and decarbonisation projects for Barnet Council. Collaborating with stakeholders to achieve effective outcomes for local residents.
Responsibilities
- Supports the councils net zero ambition
- Leads on some key borough wide decarbonisation projects including Local Area Energy planning (LAEP) and the development of heat networks
- Works with stakeholders to identify & develop project requirements
- Helps to shape and manage commissions
- Manages the relationships with suppliers and partners to ensure needs can be met
- Works collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders to achieve effective integrated and best value outcomes for residents of Barnet
Requirements
- Degree or degree level equivalent
- Experience and working understanding of heat networks and local area energy planning
- Excellent strategic thinking and planning
- Interpretation of legal and commercial documentation
