About the role

  • Life Insurance Competition Associate supporting Guardian field force with competition and conservation support. Conducting industry research and creating materials with effective presentations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide field force with life insurance competition and conservation support
  • Conduct life insurance & annuity industry research
  • Create/update marketing materials and present at trainings and WebEx’s
  • Provide General Agents and brokers with individualized case consultations
  • offering competition support for new business and conservation
  • Develop effective sales support materials
  • Keep abreast of competitor actions and industry happenings
  • Continually learn new sales support functions and new life and annuity products/trends

Requirements

  • Four-year college degree or equivalent business experience
  • Minimum 5 years’ industry experience
  • Thorough knowledge of the life insurance industry with emphasis on whole life products
  • Analytical thinking
  • Customer focus
  • Information seeking
  • Respect for diversity
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with Life Insurance Illustration software
