About the role

  • Inputs to product strategy with cross-functional stakeholders consistent with the shared vision for the product
  • Implements the architectural roadmap balancing innovation, regulatory requirements, time-to-market, customer needs and product profitability
  • Controls for the customer experience and customer needs in product requirements and decision making
  • Monitors metrics that inform product success including usability studies, research and market analysis
  • Manages workstreams including analytics, customer discovery, market research and competitive analysis
  • Monitors product profitability measures, including budget
  • Participates in Product Reviews, Operating Reviews, and Business Reviews and interfaces with product leadership
  • Partners with content developers, data scientists, product designers and user experience researchers
  • Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive strategic initiatives
  • Drive global payment processing deals and ensure successful sales and account expansion
  • Serve as payments expert for strategic initiatives like Local Payment Method expansion and Omnichannel experiences
  • Influence product roadmap of the Payments Platform and consult with commercialization teams on sales positioning
  • Navigate compliance and rule frameworks related to enterprise merchants and marketplaces
  • Establish thought leadership through merchant communication, conferences, partner collaboration, and webinars
  • Strengthen organizational systems including regulations, compliance, legal frameworks, scheme rules, sales motions, and upselling

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Data Science Proficiency: Design and implement advanced data analysis models
  • Payments Industry Expertise: A minimum of 5 years of experience in the payments industry, particularly in large enterprise card and payment processing
  • Business-to-Business Sales and Relationship Building: Demonstrated experience of 2-3 years in business-to-business sales, relationship building, and business development
  • Partner Relationship Development: Proven track record in identifying, developing, and contracting partner relationships within an enterprise context
  • Enterprise Merchant and Marketplace Expertise: Hands-on experience working with the processing and payout needs of enterprise merchants and marketplaces
  • Regional Payments Experience in markets such as EU, UK, EMEA, APAC, or LatAm
  • Effective communication skills and ability to engage stakeholders at various levels
  • B2B and product software proficiency, including Powerpoint, Salesforce, Jira, and Sharepoint
  • Ability to engage directly with global enterprise clients and support sales teams
