About the role

  • Develop and execute a 12–24 month growth strategy focusing on market share, margin, and ACOS (ROI).
  • Identify non-obvious growth opportunities within marketplaces.
  • Set and decompose goals by marketplace/category/SKU.
  • Conduct weekly business reviews.
  • Manage product economics (pricing, discounts, promotions, logistics, returns, VAT/platform commissions).
  • Define the assortment strategy: SKU matrix by segment, price tiers, and competitor top-sellers.
  • Manage positioning and pricing corridors vs competitors, ensuring price parity and basket index control.
  • Manage FBA, FBM models on Amazon, as well as 3PL and warehouse partnerships.
  • Select and test optimal fulfillment strategies to maximize conversion and product availability.
  • Oversee inventory management: demand planning, stock allocation, and SLA compliance for replenishment.
  • Reduce operational costs through tariff optimization, packaging quality improvement, and return rate reduction.
  • Oversee the full performance marketing stack: internal ads (CPC/CPA/auto/smart campaigns), Helium 10, external traffic (Google Ads, Meta, affiliates), and retargeting.
  • Manage platform promotions, deal events, coupons, and discounts — proactively and with P&L impact in mind.
  • Drive product listings to top search positions through effective keyword optimization, attributes, A+ content, and infographics.
  • Optimize the conversion funnel: impressions → clicks → carts → orders → repeat purchases.
  • Systematically manage ratings and reviews: structured responses, triggers, and reputation growth.
  • Build dashboards and alerts for sales, margin, market share, stock, returns, and penalties.
  • Develop forecasting and hypothesis-testing models: seasonality, price/discount elasticity, media mix.
  • Implement tools, scripts, and BI solutions to reduce manual work and accelerate decision-making.
  • Build strong relationships with account managers on Amazon; participate in pilots and beta programs.
  • Provide cross-functional leadership — collaborating with production, logistics, finance, design, and legal teams.
  • Mentor team members, establish standards, processes, and foster a culture of growth.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of marketplace management with proven GMV and margin growth in large categories.
  • Experience in Non-Food/DIY/sanitaryware is a plus.
  • Deep understanding of Amazon platform: SEO, advertising tools, logistics, and ranking algorithms.
  • Expertise in FBA, FBM , and external 3PL logistics ; experience in inventory management and return optimization.
  • Strong analytical skills: advanced Excel/Google Sheets (formulas, pivots, Power Query); BI experience is a plus.
  • Data-driven decision-making, precision, and accountability for measurable results.
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills with marketplace representatives.
