Part-time Lead Generation Assistant conducting online research and qualifying leads for consulting team. Requires Cape Town residence and remote work for 16 hours weekly.
Responsibilities
Conduct online research to identify potential customers and business opportunities.
Qualify leads by gathering key information and assessing potential interest.
Build and maintain lead lists, including accurate contact details and company information.
Assist with drafting outreach templates, call scripts, and follow-up materials.
Reach out to prospects via email with tailored introductions and follow-up messages.
Conduct cold calls to engage potential customers and introduce the company’s services.
Schedule meetings or calls between qualified leads and senior team members.
Record all outreach activities and results in the company tracking tools.
Provide regular progress updates to the team on outreach results and lead status.
Support other administrative or research tasks related to business development, as required.
Requirements
Matric (Grade 12) required; a relevant diploma or degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field will be advantageous.
Minimum of 1–2 years’ experience in lead generation, sales support, or business development (preferably in a B2B environment).
Proficient in using online research tools, LinkedIn, and CRM or lead-tracking systems.
Strong computer literacy (MS Office Suite and email communication).
Excellent written and verbal English communication; confident telephone manner for cold calling and follow-ups.
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple leads, track progress, and meet deadlines.
Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
