About the role
- Act as one of two lead analysts supporting global R&D functions, jointly owning end-to-end FP&A responsibilities for ~$160M in annual spend.
- Lead monthly close activities including journal entries, variance analysis, and insightful reporting with commentary.
- Collaborate with R&D and Clinical leadership to build annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-range plans.
- Perform financial modeling and strategic analysis to support decision-making around new product development and clinical trial investments.
- Analyze financial performance and connect results to business activity, identify key trends, and provide actionable insights and recommendations.
- Develop and maintain reporting tools for tracking performance and decision-making.
- Prepare high-quality financial presentations and materials for senior leadership.
- Coach, advise, or train less-experienced financial analysis staff.
- Support accounting activities in collaboration with Finance Centers (COE, Costa Rica, etc.).
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and corporate policies.
- Assist in the support of audits and related processes.
- Support Finance Manager with ad hoc analysis, reporting requests, and strategic decision-making.
- Continuously look for ways to improve and streamline financial processes, reporting tools, and business support.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- 4+ years of Finance/Accounting experience.
- Experience with Excel including advanced functions, formulas, pivots required.
- Experience building PowerBI dashboards preferred.
- CPA/CMA preferred.
Benefits
- $ 77,200- $160,800 salary plus bonus eligible + benefits.
