About the role

  • You are responsible for the timely and accurate invoicing of our projects and for project controlling
  • Coordinate preparatory accounting (preliminary postings) with the tax advisor – manage incoming and outgoing invoices and prepare payment runs
  • Monitor, process and follow up on open items and manage the dunning process
  • Establish and prepare monthly and annual reporting as well as sales controlling
  • Responsible for the time tracking system and related processes (vacation, sickness, retroactive entries)
  • Support HR and recruiting (onboarding/offboarding, contracts, personnel development, training)
  • Digitize finance processes
  • Responsible for and optimize CRM reporting/analytics
  • Structure administrative procedures and organization
  • Support the management with special projects as required
  • Office administration

Requirements

  • Degree in Business/Management or comparable vocational training (e.g., office administrator, tax clerk, etc.)
  • At least 3–5 years of professional experience in finance
  • Strong numerical affinity; experience in controlling and/or accounting is an advantage
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Confident user of Excel and other MS Office applications, with an understanding of CRM systems — Salesforce is a plus
  • Experience with DATEV and Lexware is a plus
  • Interest in, and ideally experience with, digitizing processes
  • Enthusiasm and a hands-on approach to getting things done
  • Self-initiative, sense of responsibility and team spirit
  • High degree of self-organization and a structured, organized, solution-oriented working style — strong organizational skills
  • Independent, structured and customer-oriented working style, and enjoyment of working in a team
