Senior Manager Director in KYC Operations at Citi. Leading AML compliance and KYC processes with global operational oversight and management.
Responsibilities
Lead the design and implementation of global operational capacity and productivity framework to ensure an effective and sustainable end-to-end KYC process across the KYC Business Support Unit (BSU) and ensure global compliance with KYC standards
Develop, manage, and continuously optimize productivity strategies in accordance with global standards and partner with business and Compliance to ensure throughput is accurately reflected
Work with global operational teams to set productivity targets at a global, regional, hub, satellite, team lead and individual level
Adapt to changes in KYC client population, regulatory commitments, internal compliance commitments, etc., as appropriate
Lead impact analysis assessment sessions related to technology change requirements, operational procedures and processes, Citi external clients, Business Risk and Controls, etc.
Ensure adequate capacity planning/workload prioritization across Regional BSU Hubs and Satellites relative to identified targets, SLAs and Regulatory commitments and participate in management forums for establishing vision and setting management strategy relating to the KYC Program
Lead AML KYC projects and transformation programs that improve operational productivity, manage critical project activities, inter-dependencies, risk components, progress communication, coordination, and collaboration across teams
Directly engage global Core functions (e.g., Re-Engineering, Business Solutions and Support, Controls, and the Business Management Office) during Citi KYC process improvement projects, Citi KYC system releases and preparation of management reporting material
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.

Requirements
15+ years of Wealth Management and/or Retail Banking business lines with specific focus on Financial Crimes and prior operational experience in AML/KYC
First-class leadership and influencing skills, including experience managing teams.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Track record of managing internal relationships and demonstrated experience in leading sustained change management efforts
Possesses strong analytical skills and has high attention to details

Demonstrated team player
