About the role

  • Develop and deliver a pipeline of new business in DuPont’s specialty Silicone additive masterbatch and TPE/TPO thermoplastic compound product lines
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Channel partners to identify prospective customers in strategic and tactical segments
  • Identify and engage constructively with key external decision makers and influencers
  • Manage and grow existing customers
  • Develop Account Plans to identify account-specific opportunity and gain cross-functional alignment on strategy and actions

Requirements

  • 5-10 years of demonstrated commercial &/or business development success in polymer compounds and specialty additives
  • BS degree in business or engineering
  • Proven track record in getting results by exercising sales excellence & best practices
  • Self-starter, independent achiever and highly motivated
  • Demonstrable ability to “open doors”, network effectively across levels and functions, develop relationships and identify customer needs
  • Solid commercial negotiation skills
  • Excellent communication & presentation skills
  • Familiarity and proficiency in using CRM tools such as Salesforce
