About the role
- Tax Analyst supporting municipal and state registrations processes in Brazil for an educational group. Collaborating with fiscal authorities and ensuring compliance for various operations.
Responsibilities
- Perform processes for opening, modifying and closing Municipal Registration (IM) and State Registration (I.E.) across multiple states in Brazil;
- Monitor deadlines, protocols and requirements related to registrations and certificates, keeping organized and up-to-date records;
- Manage and update negative debt certificates (municipal and state), ensuring the company’s tax compliance;
- Assist with tax audits and inspections by compiling documents and fiscal information requested by public authorities;
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in or holder of a university degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Law or related fields;
- Basic Excel skills;
- Previous experience with tax routines, especially municipal and state registration processes (IM/I.E.);
- Knowledge of municipal tax legislation;
- Familiarity with SEFAZ portals, municipal government websites and registration agencies;
- Ability to manage deadlines and competing demands;
