About the role

  • Junior HelpDesk Analyst at Akross assisting with hardware and software in a hybrid setting. Supporting users and maintaining IT systems in a dynamic, technology-focused environment.

Responsibilities

  • Execute processes involving hardware and software preparation in a corporate environment.
  • Provide support to employees (peripheral issues, equipment, APIs, etc.).
  • Control inventory and stock.
  • Perform price quotations for purchasing supplies (equipment and software).
  • Create and maintain operating system images/templates and best practices across the device fleet.
  • Apply and update policies and perform workstation maintenance (install patches, antivirus).

Requirements

  • Pursuing a degree in Technology or holding a technical secondary education in Technology.
  • Basic knowledge of operating systems: Linux, Windows and macOS.
  • Experience with ticketing systems.
  • Knowledge of computer network infrastructure.
  • Proficiency with office applications for support (LibreOffice, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, OpenOffice, and similar).
  • Nice to have: experience in user support.
  • Organizational skills.
