About the role

  • Validate and manage engineering, parametric and supplier-provided product environmental technical data and information
  • Document material and substance content of parts and materials based on technical sources
  • Maintain and update project records and process documentation; recommend improvements
  • Collect, test (as needed), validate, and manage product environmental compliance data; assist in reviewing supplier lab reports
  • Support suppliers in producing required regulatory and compliance data and liaise between the business and clients
  • Track progress and performance of compliance activities; prepare technical and other reports for stakeholders
  • Utilize product engineering and parametric data to support compliance efforts and ensure correct interpretation
  • Support senior engineers in assessing risks associated with material composition and assist documenting data collection processes

Requirements

  • Background in chemistry, parts and components composition, and laboratory analysis techniques
  • Familiarity with hazardous substances regulations (ROHS/REACH), conflict minerals, and related areas
  • Experience handling technical data, project requirements, and regulatory standards
  • Ability to validate, collect, test and manage supplier-provided material composition and lab reports
  • Self-organized, self-motivated, detail-oriented and meticulous with strong sense of quality responsibility
  • Ability to work independently under pressure and learn quickly on the job
  • Keen interest in sustainability and ability to navigate multicultural environments
