About the role
- IT Technical Project Manager responsible for managing IT technology projects at OneDigital. Collaborating with IT and business stakeholders to ensure project deliverables are met on time and within budget.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of IT technology projects
- Collaborate with other IT departments on functional, technical capabilities, and solutions to ensure business needs are met
- Support the IT Infrastructure and Business Solutions teams and report into the IT Strategy & Governance team
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Accountable for coordination of IT project technical requirements, determining impact assessments and overseeing a project from planning to implementation
- Partner with IT Leadership, IT Infrastructure, and Business Solutions teams to identify project deliverables, develop project scope, and manage resources and activities
- Act as a conduit between IT and business stakeholders
- Provide ongoing status updates on project progress, risks, change management, and issue resolution
- Coordinate purchasing activities and provide assistance for infrastructure and application-related projects
- Produce detailed timelines for each project
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans in Smartsheets that align with organizational capacity and goals
- Ensure consistent communication with clients and internal leadership
Requirements
- PMP Certification preferred
- 4 - 6 years of experience in managing IT technology projects and large-scale projects
- Working knowledge of some: SOC2, Microsoft platform, Windows servers and clients, Windows OS Upgrades, Data networking, Security
- Experience delivering iterative solutions using both Waterfall and Agile project management methodologies
- Proven, successful experience in managing multiple, concurrent, technical projects
- Understanding of the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework
- Demonstrated planning skills and a proven ability to lead teams in a multi-project environment
- Demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (including Visio and Powerpoint)
- Experience with Smartsheet is a plus
- Excellent interpersonal communications skills and proven ability to work effectively with all organization levels
- Ability to quickly learn and use new complex technical concepts and resolve issues with them in a rapidly changing environment
- Ability to discuss complex technical concepts to the technical staff, stakeholders, and business executives in a simple straightforward manner
- Ability to facilitate solutions in a complex IT technology and business environment and able to adapt quickly to change
- Ability to assess and deliver appropriate level of detail and comfortable interacting at all levels of the organization
- Understanding of technology concepts, trends, and capabilities
