About the role

  • Project Manager at IQVIA managing hospital and clinical software projects. Leading a team to ensure compliance with standards and successful project delivery across multiple workstreams.

Responsibilities

  • Own and deliver complex, high-risk projects from initiation through closure, ensuring scope, schedule, quality and financial objectives are achieved.
  • Validate and approve project scope, plans, schedules, resourcing and delivery approaches for assigned projects and programmes.
  • Act as the primary escalation point for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication, governance and reporting for your team.
  • Manage project budgets, forecasts and commercial performance, ensuring adherence to change control processes and financial targets.
  • Identify, assess and mitigate delivery, financial and operational risks; develop and implement quality and risk management plans.
  • Ensure all project work is delivered in accordance with organisational SOPs, policies, regulatory requirements and contractual obligations.
  • Provide direct line management to Project Managers, including work allocation, performance management, coaching and professional development.
  • Lead a high-performing project management team, driving delivery excellence, consistency and continuous improvement.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding and capability development of Project Management resources.
  • Drive adherence to project delivery standards, governance frameworks, KPIs and metrics across the team.
  • Conduct periodic audits and reviews to ensure projects are delivered against agreed guidelines, processes and quality standards.
  • Act as a Project Management ambassador, promoting best practices and effective collaboration across cross-functional teams.

Requirements

  • 5 years’ experience required
  • Project Management certification (e.g. PRINCE2, PMP, MSP or equivalent) – mandatory and current
  • Strong knowledge of project governance, risk management, quality management and delivery methodologies
  • Strong financial acumen, including project budgeting, forecasting and commercial control
  • Proficient in project management tools, financial tracking systems and MS Office applications.
