Responsibilities
Installation, maintenance, updates and administration of SPRIND’s systems and devices in accordance with strategic and technical guidelines, in cooperation with the various teams
Maintenance of conference systems
Password and key management (logins as well as hardware and software tokens)
Mobile Device Management for Apple devices
Handling warranty or product safety cases with manufacturers and suppliers
Onboarding and support of SPRIND colleagues with hardware and software, including receiving and prioritizing support requests
Problem analysis, assessment and resolution, as well as coordination and documentation of solution processes
Participation in procurement processes and design of new systems and processes
Requirements
Completed vocational training as an IT specialist (Fachinformatiker) or a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or an equivalent qualification, each combined with initial practical or professional experience
Technical knowledge and practical experience with common server, desktop and mobile operating systems (e.g. macOS, iOS, Ubuntu, Windows, Debian, Docker)
Knowledge of virtualization technologies and practical experience with Mobile Device Management for Apple devices (Jamf and Apple Business Manager)
Experience with network topologies and virtual networks
Knowledge and practical experience in domain administration and DNS, as well as IT security topics (e.g. encryption, firewalls, system hardening)
Structured and careful working style with the ability to prioritize tasks
Reliability and service orientation
Enthusiasm for independently learning new subject areas
Very good German and business-fluent English
