About the role
- Define and execute the company’s IT strategy in alignment with organizational objectives
- Lead the IT Department across all functions: infrastructure, software development, support, cybersecurity, and data governance
- Oversee the operation, maintenance, and evolution of enterprise systems and networks, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security
- Develop and enforce corporate IT policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks (including desirable knowledge of ISO 27001)
- Ensure compliance with data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR) and internal security protocols
- Lead internal and external IT projects from planning to execution, ensuring timely delivery and value creation
- Manage relationships with external vendors and technology partners
- Drive digital transformation initiatives to improve internal efficiency and customer experience
- Ensure business continuity through disaster recovery planning and risk mitigation strategies
- Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of IT professionals
- Collaborate with senior leadership to identify business needs and propose technological solutions
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical & Computer Engineering, or related field (Master’s degree in MBA, Technology Management, or related field is preferred)
- Proven experience (7+ years) in senior IT leadership roles
- Strong expertise in IT infrastructure, enterprise systems, cybersecurity, and cloud environments
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Experience with major cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud
- Working knowledge of ISO 27001 and other IT governance or security standards
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams and manage complex projects across multiple stakeholders
- Strong vendor management, contract negotiation, and budgeting skills
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and strategic planning abilities
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required
