About the role
- Work closely with Patients and Caregivers to educate and assist on application and enrollment, aiming to onboard within 60 days
- Provide necessary documentation and requirements with Medicaid, patients' insurance and caregivers to obtain authorizations
- Work with medical providers to ensure documentation compliance
- Provide high-level customer service through one-call resolution
- Consistently meet monthly performance metrics for starts of care and call handling
- Be the initial point-of-contact for prospective clients, caregivers or pending enrollees
- Manage a high open caseload until the enrollment process is complete
- Regular communication with health plans regarding benefits and authorizations
- Navigate multiple systems and portals to determine eligibility and obtain authorization
- Receive in-house training and collaborate across departments
Requirements
- Must be able to commute into our Phoenix, AZ office 2-3 times a week (hybrid)
- Experience in high-volume inbound and outbound call environment
- Motivated to help patients/caregivers and drive to meet metrics
- Poise and patience when dealing with clients
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Computer proficiency and strong typing skills
- Ability to navigate multiple systems and portals
- Keen attention to detail, metrics-driven, excellent time management skills
- High empathy and collaborative team player
- Flexibility as role and responsibilities may change
- Spanish bilingual preferred
- Salesforce experience preferred
- 2+ years of relevant experience preferred
