About the role

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers, building strong relationships and ensuring satisfaction with products and service.
  • Collaborate closely with outside sales to coordinate customer strategy, provide technical support, and help identify growth opportunities.
  • Prepare and process quotes, orders, returns, and technical inquiries efficiently and accurately using our ERP and CRM systems (e.g., Tribute, HubSpot).
  • Provide technical support and product recommendations tailored to customer applications in hydraulics, pneumatics, and motion control.
  • Track and manage open quotes, proactively following up with customers and outside reps to convert opportunities.
  • Monitor customer order patterns and work with procurement and operations to ensure adequate stock and timely deliveries.
  • Address customer concerns or issues promptly and professionally, escalating as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate customer data and communications in CRM system.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in fluid power sales or technical support, preferably with dedicated or named accounts.
  • Strong understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, components, and applications.
  • Proven ability to build relationships and work effectively across teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with ERP and CRM systems (Tribute and HubSpot experience a plus).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a proactive, solution-oriented approach.
