Sales Executive supporting infrastructure Red Hat products and services. Collaborating with technical teams and managing client relationships with a focus on security solutions.
Responsibilities
Support commercial activities related to the Red Hat infrastructure portfolio (RHEL, Red Hat Satellite, OpenShift & Kubernetes, Ansible Automation Platform, Virtualization & Containers);
Work closely with the technical team and presales to identify customer needs and prepare proposals;
Actively prospect new clients and opportunities through calls, presentations and initial demonstrations;
Promote and position software security solutions, with emphasis on Black Duck for vulnerability, license and open-source component risk analysis;
Manage opportunity pipeline in CRM, ensuring status updates, follow-up and accurate forecasting;
Participate in client meetings, supporting senior executives and contributing information and reports;
Conduct market research and account mapping to identify potential expansion opportunities;
Collaborate with internal areas (marketing, presales, consulting, partnerships) to execute sales strategies;
Support the organization and participation in events, workshops and webinars with clients.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Marketing, Sales/Business or related fields;
Basic knowledge of IT infrastructure, Linux operating systems and Red Hat technologies (introductory knowledge is acceptable);
Knowledge of information security and familiarity with DevSecOps concepts;
Experience as an SDR is a plus.
