About the role

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during onboarding; conduct kickoff meetings and gather business processes and requirements
  • Configure SaaS products: customize system settings, workflows, and integrations; minimize customizations using out-of-the-box functionality
  • Perform basic project management: ensure scope alignment, plan communications, evaluate risks and opportunities, advise on change management
  • Prepare data and carry out initial data loads (work extensively in Excel); write simple scripts; author ad hoc reports
  • Collaborate with sales, product management, customer success, and technical support to ensure seamless transition from sales to adoption
  • Develop and deliver training sessions; create and maintain implementation documentation, user guides, and knowledge base articles
  • Identify and address implementation challenges; troubleshoot and escalate complex problems; provide timely client updates
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of implementation processes and methodologies

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Computer Science, Information Systems) or equivalent practical experience
  • 3+ years of experience in a client-facing implementation role, preferably in the SaaS industry
  • Strong understanding of software implementation processes, methodologies, and best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to lead in a workshop environment
  • Technical aptitude and ability to quickly learn new software applications
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; high comfort level with Excel
  • Ability to design and document reports from relational databases; SSRS or PowerBI a significant plus
  • Experience with CRM, ERP, or other enterprise software implementations (particularly GovTech) a plus
  • Familiarity with Autotask, Asana, or similar project tracking/time management tools a plus
  • Legally able to work full time in Canada (application asks this)
