About the role

  • Serves as the first point of contact for managers and employees in the EMEA region, providing guidance on the full range of HR topics.
  • Partners with managers and their teams throughout the employee life cycle, overseeing the development, coordination, and execution of HR processes such as workforce planning, recruitment, performance management, and compensation reviews.
  • Provides advice and day-to-day HR support on operational topics (e.g., parental leave, onboarding, new starter introductions) in close collaboration with the HR Coordinator.
  • Supports managers with personnel and organizational matters, including fixed-term contracts, extensions, job postings, and related administrative processes.
  • Acts as the primary contact for external service providers and institutions (e.g., labor lawyers, relocation services, occupational health and safety authorities, immigration offices).
  • Continuously reviews, optimizes, and documents HR processes, ensuring compliance and efficiency while collaborating with key stakeholders.
  • Leads and supports regional HR processes such as annual salary and bonus reviews.
  • Oversees HR administrative tasks including preparation of contract documentation, certificates, and special requests.
  • Manages special projects and ad-hoc assignments, contributing to the development and improvement of HR practices across the region.
  • Partners with global and regional HR colleagues to implement strategic HR initiatives across the EMEA region.
  • Maintains constructive and professional collaboration with works councils/unions, where applicable.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with a focus on human resources management
  • 5–7 years of experience as an HR Generalist / HR Business Partner in an international matrix environment
  • Knowledge in key HR areas such as operational HR, labor law, recruiting, talent & performance management, and compensation & benefits
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR practices in multiple EMEA countries
  • Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships with managers, employees, and external stakeholders
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to balance operational and strategic HR responsibilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluency in English required; additional languages are an advantage.
