About the role

  • Maintain accurate and timely sales forecasts.
  • Demonstrate progress toward Sales target delivery using Business Development, pipeline management & Client relationship activities.
  • Proficient use of Sales techniques and Product knowledge to promote IFX solutions and brand.
  • Learn and familiarise with the IFX Payments product suite including iBanq to perfect a sales strategy to both FX and Payment prospects.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the corporate sector to expand the client base.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with corporate clients, understanding their FX and Payment needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including trading, and operations to deliver comprehensive FX solutions to clients.
  • Stay informed about market trends, economic developments, and regulatory changes that may impact FX markets.
  • Analyse client portfolios to identify potential risks and recommend strategies to mitigate currency exposures.
  • Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and efficiency enhancement within the business development function.
  • Attend industry events, conferences, and networking functions to promote the company’s brand and build professional relationships.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in lead generation, cold-calling, or a similar outbound sales role, preferably in the financial services, payments or FX industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and lead management system.
  • Knowledge of the payments or foreign exchange industry is a plus but not essential.
  • Ability to handle objections and provide thoughtful responses to potential client concerns.
  • A true team player with a winning mentality and strong work ethic committed to continuous improvement and high performance.
  • Adaptable, tenacious and flexible who is able to perform under pressure.
