Financial Services Administrator providing support to various Financial Services operations. Involves full cycle accounts payables, receivables, and accounting reporting in the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia.
Responsibilities
Provide direct support to a variety of Financial Services’ operations functions including full cycle accounts payables and receivables, accounting and financial reporting and annual budget preparation.
Maintain in-depth knowledge of relevant legislation and Assembly financial policies and procedures in order to process MLA travel claims and allowances and support constituency office accounting and expense procedures.
Requirements
Post-secondary education in finance or a related program, plus at least 2 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience with an ERP system such as Workday.
Preference may be given to candidates with the following:
Successful completion of post-secondary courses in accounting or business.
Experience with electronic workflow software such as CaseWare.
Experience with information management and privacy laws and best practices.
