About the role

  • Provide direct support to a variety of Financial Services’ operations functions including full cycle accounts payables and receivables, accounting and financial reporting and annual budget preparation.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of relevant legislation and Assembly financial policies and procedures in order to process MLA travel claims and allowances and support constituency office accounting and expense procedures.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in finance or a related program, plus at least 2 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with an ERP system such as Workday.
  • Preference may be given to candidates with the following:
  • Successful completion of post-secondary courses in accounting or business.
  • Experience with electronic workflow software such as CaseWare.
  • Experience with information management and privacy laws and best practices.
