About the role
- Financial Controller responsible for financial oversight of non-operational entities in Belgium. Collecting and analyzing financial data, implementing financial IT tools, and supporting strategic projects.
Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for the analytical management of non-operational entities based in Belgium (HQ CEMEA and HQ Group).
- You will collect, prepare, and analyze financial information (actuals, budget, forecast, etc.) to enable accurate and relevant monthly, quarterly, and annual monitoring.
- You will consolidate and challenge departmental budgets into the overall CEMEA HQ and Group HQ budget.
- You will be responsible for the calculation and review of the HQ Group’s management fees, as well as communication with all group entities.
- You prepare timely financial analyses and support the development and implementation of financial IT tools (SAP, Tagetik, Power BI,...).
- You enter budget data reporting into SAP and Tagetik (consolidation tool).
- You will provide ad-hoc support to the Head of Finance Western countries on specific financial projects.
- You will actively support the Head of Finance Western countries, the CEMEA Controlling Director, and the VP Finance CEMEA in preparing reports and conducting analyses.
- You will support the implementation of strategic projects within the Finance department.
Requirements
- You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree and have at least 5 years of relevant experience, ideally gained within a global or multinational company.
- You have general computer skills, proficiency in MS Office, and SAP knowledge is a plus.
- You demonstrate strong organizational and analytical abilities.
- You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal skills.
- You are comfortable working independently and autonomously.
- You easily build connections with stakeholders.
- You are solution oriented.
- You are fluent in French and English.
