About the role

  • Payments Controller at Datacom managing accounts payable processes in Auckland, New Zealand. Ensuring timely payment processing and driving continuous improvements in finance operations.

Responsibilities

  • Processing and overseeing all payments are processed and paid in a timely and accurate manner
  • ANZ payment forecast is accurate and updated daily Weekly, monthly, Manual, urgent and FX payment processing
  • Managing the Corp credits card claims and ensuring these are coded and DFA is complete
  • Managing allocated portfolio to ensure payments are processed and paid timely, accurately and in accordance with internal process and agreed terms
  • Managing payment approvals for all payment runs and ensure approved within set timeframes
  • Ensuring all vendor queries are addressed in a timely manner
  • Supporting the implementation of enhancements that will improve service quality and/or reduce the cost of doing business

Requirements

  • Knowledge and experience in business performance and finance
  • Knowledge of finance management practices with a clear understanding of the relationship between costs, utilisation and project revenue.
  • 3+ years of demonstrated experience in accounts payable.
  • Experience developing and implementing strategic plans and objectives
  • Establishes and assures adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans, and performance requirements
  • Ability to frequently interact with a variety of stakeholders and team members
