About the role

  • You analyze our existing financial processes and develop a roadmap for automation (e.g., ERP system, integrations, digital invoice processing).
  • You drive projects from tool selection through implementation to integration into day-to-day operations.
  • You ensure our workflows are lean, efficient, and scalable — providing operational support only where necessary.
  • You act as a sparring partner to management on structural and process-related matters.
  • With growing experience, you will progressively take on the functional and disciplinary leadership of a small finance team.

Requirements

  • Experience in finance operations, process management, or finance transformation.
  • Professional experience from consulting, start-up/scale-up environments, or corporate finance (shared service center).
  • Knowledge of accounting/controlling is welcome, but you do not need to be a certified accountant.
  • Strong affinity for technology and tools (ERP, DATEV, cloud solutions, BI).
  • Enjoy creating structure, taking responsibility, and developing a team.
