Responsibilities
You act as the link between your team and other internal departments, in particular Risk & Compliance, Marketing, and Accounting.
In your role as assistant, you handle correspondence and communication in German and English with international clients, authorities, agencies, and courts.
You take care of general appointment coordination.
This includes managing appointments and travel for the lawyers, including administrative processing such as bookings and travel expense reports.
You are responsible for invoicing: You independently prepare invoices and cost summaries and keep track of deadlines and follow-ups.
You create and maintain physical and digital files and original contracts, managing and maintaining them.
You also process incoming and outgoing mail.
You prepare and format briefs, expert opinions, contracts, statements, and pitch materials according to templates, notes, or independently.
Requirements
You are a trained foreign language correspondent or European secretary or have a similar, industry-related commercial qualification or a completed (university) degree.
Ideally, you have already gained several years of relevant professional experience in an international environment.
You are very familiar with common MS Office applications and have a confident command of them, especially Excel.
Teamwork is important to you, and the success of the team plays a decisive role for you.
You have strong organizational skills, a structured way of working, and good manners.
High communication skills and fluent German and English, both written and spoken, complete your profile.
