About the role

  • Assist in the uploading of sales and purchase invoices to the Spanish SII (Immediate Supply of Information) system to ensure compliance with local tax regulations
  • Prepare VAT (Value Added Tax) files for Germany, UK & Spain ensuring all necessary documentation is accurate and submitted on time
  • Review and verify the accuracy of VAT rates applied to transactions to ensure compliance with respective tax jurisdictions
  • Post invoices into the accounting system, ensuring all data is accurately recorded
  • Manage and organize general expense invoices, ensuring they are correctly categorized and coded within the financial system
  • Conduct departmental and account reviews of General & Administrative (G&A) invoices to ensure proper allocation of expenses
  • Assist in the preparation and organization of reporting files for the finance department
  • Collaborate to review financial data and prepare materials for departmental meetings
  • Support in generating reports that provide insights into financial performance, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Provide support during audits, including gathering and organizing required documentation for external auditors
  • Assist in the follow-up of B2B payments, ensuring timely payments and resolving any discrepancies
  • Participate in special projects and ad-hoc tasks as required by the finance team, contributing to the overall efficiency of the department

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or master in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and tax regulations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; experience with accounting software is a plus
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Fluency in Spanish (native) and strong command of English
