About the role
- Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting processes for assigned entities and business areas
- Ensure completeness of accruals and prepayments, accurate cost allocation, and capitalization of expenses
- Review, reconcile, and validate financial data to ensure accuracy and reliability
- Analyse results, challenge data, and provide clear explanations for variances against budget
- Present financial performance insights and cost analysis to management, including ad-hoc analysis as required
- Partner with Financial Accounting to prepare documentation and analysis for external auditors and support compliance
- Review contracts and provide feasibility analysis to support commercial and operational decisions
- Identify, document, and present cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements
- Document, standardize, and update finance processes and procedures to support continuous improvement
- Collaborate with global finance teams, supporting colleagues and sharing best practices
Requirements
- Professional finance qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
- Experience in a finance business partner, FP&A, or commercial finance role
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and challenge financial data
- Proficiency in Excel; experience with reporting and visualization tools is an advantage
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting cycles
- Commercial awareness with the ability to assess contract and cost implications
- Proactive, detail-driven, and solutions-focused mindset
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative, global team
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities
