About the role
- Intern assisting in application development for healthcare service provider in a ten-week paid program. Collaborating with teams to maintain and test applications while adhering to corporate policies.
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing, integrating, testing, and maintaining existing and new applications
- Complete entry level programming tasks as directed by management
- Manage meeting deadlines and understand changes to relational databases
- Verify system corrections using test applications
- Initiate and monitor timely defect resolutions for production readiness
- Comply with HIPAA, Diversity Principles, Corporate Integrity
- Create a final internship PowerPoint presentation to share with department leadership
Requirements
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer information systems, math or a related field
- Graduation date between December 2026 and June 2027
- A minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0
- Availability to work 10 weeks during the summer (June – August)
- Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States
