About the role

  • You are responsible for the timely and accurate accounting of our projects and for project controlling
  • Coordinate preliminary bookkeeping (pre-coding) with the tax advisor – incoming and outgoing invoices and preparation of payment runs
  • Monitor, process and follow up on open items and manage the dunning process
  • Set up and prepare monthly and annual reporting as well as sales/CRM controlling
  • Own the time-tracking system and its processes (vacation, illness, retroactive entries)
  • Provide support in HR and recruiting (onboarding and offboarding, contracts, personnel development, training)
  • Drive the digitalization of finance processes
  • Take responsibility for and optimize CRM reporting
  • Structure administrative workflows and organization
  • Support management on special projects when required
  • Office administration

Requirements

  • Completed degree in business/management or a comparable professional qualification, e.g., office administrator, tax clerk, etc.
  • At least 3–5 years of professional experience in finance
  • Strong numerical affinity; experience in controlling and/or accounting is an advantage
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Confident use of Excel and other MS Office programs and a good understanding of CRM systems – Salesforce is an advantage
  • Experience with DATEV and Lexware is an advantage
  • Interest in and ideally experience with process digitalization
  • Enthusiasm and a hands-on approach to getting things done
  • Initiative, a sense of responsibility and strong team spirit
  • High level of self-organization and a structured, organized and solution-oriented way of working – strong organizational skills
  • Independent, structured and customer-focused working style, and enjoyment of working in a team
