Responsibilities
Sales specialist in field sales for commercial and key accounts in civil engineering wholesale, including proactive sales activities and management of supplier relationships
Purchasing and price negotiations for stocked and project-based business
Project-related bid calculation, follow-up and active order securing
Collaboration with site management / regional sales management and central purchasing for the strategic realignment of civil engineering sales in the Eastern sales region
Continuation of existing customer relationships and development of new customer and industry relationships in the newly established sales region
Participation in planning and implementing sales and marketing strategies as well as organizing and conducting marketing, training and specialist events
Contribution to assortment and sales strategy in the sales region while monitoring inventory levels and ensuring efficient inventory management (regional hub warehouse) with involvement of purchasing
Requirements
Successfully completed commercial or technical vocational training in the construction or trade environment, or equivalent qualifications
Professional experience in the sales of construction materials for civil engineering (sewer and road construction), preferably from project or site-based business
Ability to work independently and to motivate teams in the specialist construction trade
Strong customer focus, assertiveness and team orientation
Result- and goal-oriented mindset in trade sales
Confident use of ERP systems and Office tools; willingness to travel regionally
Native-level German language skills
