About the role

  • Drive new member acquisition and build lasting relationships with top CEOs and executives across key industry sectors
  • Engage directly with small and mid-market CEOs and senior executives to communicate the value of CEN membership
  • Identify, qualify, and close new membership opportunities using warm leads and proactive outreach
  • Cultivate referrals and nominations from existing members to expand network reach
  • Represent CEN at peer group meetings, conferences, and events to deepen relationships and uncover new opportunities
  • Regularly report on sales activities, pipeline forecasts, and successful outreach strategies
  • Share relevant content marketing, benchmarking research, and peer insights with current and prospective members to enhance engagement and build trust
  • Attend 10–12 networking events per year (occasional travel)

Requirements

  • Proven track record in B2B sales, particularly short-cycle consultative sales (80+ transactions/year strongly preferred)
  • Experience selling to C-level executives is highly desirable
  • Excellent phone and interpersonal skills with the drive to make high-volume outreach part of your daily routine
  • Strong relationship-building skills and ability to close deals through trust and value-based conversations
  • Experience using CRM tools and platforms like LinkedIn to prospect and manage relationships
  • Ability and willingness to travel to attend 10–12 networking events each year
  • Candidates located in Eastern or Central time zones are preferred
