Events Manager coordinating Techbridge's signature events and experiences throughout the year. Overseeing all aspects of event management from concept development to post-event analysis.
Responsibilities
Plan, coordinate, and execute annual in-person and virtual events for 100-1,000 attendees, including CXO gatherings, the Digital Ball, networking sessions, cocktail receptions, and corporate golf outings.
Manage all event logistics end-to-end, including registration, invitations, vendor relations, venue selection, décor, catering, audiovisual, and staffing.
Create detailed project plans, production schedules, and run-of-show documents to ensure seamless event execution.
Oversee volunteer and intern engagement, providing clear direction and training for event support.
Develop innovative event formats and experiences that align with Techbridge's mission and audience engagement goals.
Manage event budgets, track expenditures, and reconcile invoices while maintaining financial accountability.
Negotiate contracts and pricing with venues, vendors, and suppliers to maximize value and impact.
Manage registrations for all internal and external attendees.
Partner with the Marketing team to develop event promotion strategies, collateral, and digital campaigns.
Ensure all event materials, design assets, and signage are consistent with Techbridge's brand identity.
Develop and manage all post-event reports.
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of professional experience in event planning, hospitality, or nonprofit program management.
Proven success in managing large-scale events and fundraisers (in-person and virtual).
Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including copywriting for invitations and marketing materials.
Demonstrated ability to engage and serve culturally diverse audiences with professionalism and empathy.
Experience managing volunteers and collaborating with senior stakeholders and community partners.
Strong budget management skills with the ability to deliver impactful events on modest budgets.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, Slack, Salesforce, and major social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter/X).
Ability to use fundraising platforms like GiveSmart, Classy, etc.
Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
Willingness to work evenings and weekends as required for event execution.
