  • ERP Business Analyst Developer identifying business needs and designing software solutions at a manufacturing company. Focused on ERP systems and hands-on development in a hybrid role.

Responsibilities

  • Identify business needs and design software solutions to improve operational processes
  • Gather and refine business requirements through collaboration with stakeholders and end-users
  • Analyze business workflows and suggest process improvements, especially in ERP-related functions
  • Design and develop software solutions tailored to meet identified business objectives
  • Configure and enhance ERP systems (Epicor ERP) to support manufacturing operations such as purchase orders and inventory management
  • Build or modify applications using various programming languages and development tools
  • Perform ETL operations to support reporting and analytics
  • Validate data accuracy and ensure high standards of data integrity
  • Create and execute comprehensive test plans
  • Document functional and technical specifications, including user guides
  • Provide timely technical support and resolve software issues
  • Serve as a liaison between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders
  • Research and suggest new technologies to enhance business operations

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field
  • Hands-on experience with Epicor ERP in a manufacturing setting
  • Familiarity with purchase order systems, inventory control, and other manufacturing operations
  • Strong understanding of software development practices
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities
  • Experience with software development methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall
  • Knowledge of databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL
  • Competency with data modeling and visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI
  • Development experience with custom applications or ERP enhancements (preferred)
  • Preferred experience with languages such as Java, Python, C#, SQL
  • Project management skills (preferred)
  • Certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, or ScrumMaster (preferred)
