About the role

  • Formalize and lead the overall environmental strategy for the Group's photovoltaic power plant projects
  • Contribute to site qualification during the early development phase according to environmental considerations
  • Improve regulatory application dossiers (building permits, Water Act files, deforestation/clearance authorizations, etc.)
  • Support the team in the consultation and selection of external engineering and consultancy firms
  • Analyze and review documents accompanying authorization applications with respect to environmental and landscape aspects
  • Support the upskilling of teams on environmental topics
  • Manage complex environmental issues during project development
  • Conduct regulatory monitoring on environmental topics related to solar projects
  • Monitor environmental measures during the operational phase of the plants and manage them during the construction phase.

Requirements

  • At least five years' experience conducting environmental assessments for photovoltaic projects
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and QGIS
  • Strong familiarity with photovoltaic projects and a proactive, solution-oriented approach
  • Excellent written communication skills and a strong command of spelling and grammar
  • Curiosity and interest in energy and environmental issues
  • Ability to work autonomously with rigor and attention to detail
  • Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
  • Master's degree (Bac+5) in Engineering or a Master's in Environmental Science and/or Ecology
  • Valid driving license (category B).
