About the role

  • Energy Sales Manager responsible for energy sales for commercial, bulk, and re-seller accounts. Building strong customer relationships and ensuring safety and environmental policies and standards are achieved.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for building strong customer relationships and delivering solutions
  • Oversee and monitor customer satisfaction levels and identify areas for improvement
  • Participate in the development of products and services to improve profit and increase customer satisfaction
  • Building a potential customer pool and developing customer acquisition strategies
  • Market analysis and input into marketing plan
  • Responsible for reseller accounts and managing new contracts
  • Providing operational direction and supporting the implementation of programs and policies
  • Administrative duties include maintaining documentation of workflows, including submission of invoices, and expenses

Requirements

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in energy or related sales
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field an asset
  • Ability to identify issues and problem solve
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Extensive customer service experience
  • Experience delivering product preferred
  • Highly proficient in the Microsoft suite and Outlook
  • Proven effective communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
