About the role

  • Lead and mentor a team that consists of Associate Director and Account Manager level associates, providing ongoing direction, feedback and support
  • Support an assigned book of business strategically to achieve objectives, including relationship development, growth, retention, and customer objectives
  • Manage risks and develop opportunities associated with current clients
  • Cultivate productive, trusted relationships with key executives – including C-level and both internal and external stakeholders
  • Utilize data-driven resources to run efficient/effective meetings and work sessions with the client and relevant SMEs
  • Develop best-in-class presentation strategies, narratives, and content to support external meetings with senior stakeholders
  • Lead regular partnership review meetings, including strategic account planning, relationship mapping, competitive market analysis and issue management
  • Advocate for partner culture and serve as an ambassador within Evolent and the go-to expert on client priorities
  • Aggressively manage all aspects of contracts and ensure ongoing contract performance through risk management and SLA adherence

Requirements

  • Bachelors’ Degree or equivalent work experience
  • 4 or more years in client or account management leadership roles
  • 5+ years broad-based Health Plan experience
  • Ability to find creative solutions in an ever-changing and growing environment
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including at the C-level
  • Exceptionally high “Emotional Intelligence” and ability to connect with diverse constituents
  • Travel: 40% w/in the US and US Territories
  • Possess working knowledge of Evolent products and services and can articulate value proposition
  • Technical requirement: High speed internet over 10 Mbps and (for call center employees) ability to plug in directly to the home internet router
  • Identity verification (submission of government issued photo ID), comprehensive background check, in-person I-9 verification, and possible drug screening
  • Use of artificial intelligence tools during interviews is prohibited and monitored
