About the role

  • Drive sales strategy and lead a dedicated team focused on owner-direct projects, including system upgrades and equipment replacements.
  • Expand the company’s market presence by engaging existing maintenance customers and new, non-maintenance clients.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with company growth objectives.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong customer relationships; ensure exceptional customer satisfaction and ongoing support.
  • Analyze market trends and competitive dynamics; develop business initiatives to increase market share.
  • Track and analyze sales metrics; provide actionable insights to executive leadership and optimize team performance.
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team; foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee the sales process from initial engagement to project completion and report to Travis Eshpeter, President of Building Services.

Requirements

  • Design and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for owner-direct projects, including system upgrades and equipment replacements.
  • Align strategy with overall company goals, targeting existing maintenance clients and new, non-maintenance customers.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the service special projects sales team (people manager responsibility).
  • Equip the team with the knowledge, skills, and tools to engage clients, close deals, and exceed targets.
  • Foster a high-performance culture rooted in accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Analyze market trends, competitive dynamics, and opportunities in the system upgrade and equipment replacement sector.
  • Develop business initiatives to expand the customer base, strengthen client relationships, and increase market share across maintenance and non-maintenance segments.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients; oversee the sales process from initial engagement to project completion.
  • Track and analyze sales metrics; provide actionable insights to executive leadership and refine strategies based on data.
  • Implement continuous feedback loops to improve processes and outcomes.
  • Report to Travis Eshpeter, President of Building Services.
  • Demonstrated results-driven leadership, strong work ethic, forward-thinking, and strategic communication skills.
  • Self-starter comfortable in a lean, high-impact environment.
